FRANCE In 2025 the French RS Aero Class have an exciting season lined up culminating in their playing host to RS Aero sailors from around the world with the RS Aero World Championship in Brittany on the Quiberon peninsula.
The 2025 season begins for the French RS Aeros in Normandie in March, followed by the ever popular Teignouse Cup at Quiberon in May. The French Chamionpship will be competed for in Loctudy on the tip of Brittany and is early in the season in June, in preperation for the upcoming Worlds. An open event and coaching at Wimereux in the north east and Nantes in the west will ensure the French RS Aero fleet are all set and ready for their Worlds.
The RS Aero World Championship at the end of July is set at the French sailing base ENVSN on the beautiful Quiberon Peninsula, with its splendid beaches and headlands. Racing will be on the adjacent area to last year's Europeans at Carnac. Online Entry will open for the Worlds during March.
Autumn sees events at several more key French venues; Carnac, La Baule and Marseille, before the French season closes at Sanguinet near Bordeaux at the end of October. As in previous years several events are shared with the French skiff classes circuirt 'Breizhskiff' creating good critical mass and nice sociable events.
