Pluto Regatta
Pirita, Tallinn, Estonia
30-31 May
Meistrid jagavad teadmisi, kuidas neid voita.
A legendary competition has been added to the calendar of this year's sailing season - Pluto Regatta!
RS Aero and Finn class sailors will compete, promising close competition, fast rides and plenty of adrenaline on Tallinn Bay. And as appropriate for a good regatta - a nice aftersail won't be missed either!
Where did the regatta get its name?
The name of the regatta - Pluto - comes from the man we all know-known Andrias Sillaste, by whose nickname this race was created. And if you already know Andrias, then you know - he is not some modest background character. Pluto is there where something is happening. And often he is the one who makes these things happen.
His courage, dexterity and sharp mind have brought success at both domestic and international grand competitions. No one is surprised anymore when he stands on the podium again - rather raises an eyebrow when he is not there.
This is the kind of energy that Pluto Regatta is inspired - immediate, characterful and seriously sporty. They don't play it safe out here. They sail boldly here.
During 2 days, an intense competition will be held, with both experienced players and fast young people stepping on the starting line. Expect exciting races and plenty of good mood - both on the water and on the shore.
