International competition, youthful camaraderie, late season sun and all set within the wonderful culture and backdrop of the exquisite Sardinian city of Cagliari!

After the huge success of the previous three RS Aero European Youth team racing events at Cagliari, Sardinia, the Italian Sailing Federation, Italian RS Aero Class and the Sardinian RS Aero fleet will build on the event they have created with the support of the regional Government!

Cagliari Marina provides a fantastic team racing venue being both sheltered and perfect for spectating. The climate is still very nice in November and the venue is very easily accessible with Cagliari International airport within a couple of miles. Racing will take place in RS Aero 5s again to be as inclusive as possible - team racing is about precise sailing skills and tactics at low speed, rather than going fast with power.

Teams of two sailors will represent countries, with the conventional two teams in each race format. Each team is to consist of a male and female youth sailor, under the age of 25 years on the 31st December 2025. Up to two teams are invited per nation, more may be possible if spaces allow. Teams will compete through a qualification series to progress to finals.

MULTIPlE TEAMS PER NATION LIMITATION
Cultural diversity of participating nations can significantly enrich the experience and promote healthy competition. Therefore priority is initially given to nations entering 1 team per nation. The organisers reserve the right to accept members from new countries before accepting multiple national teams.
