The 2025 RS Aero European Championship will be hosted by Circolo Vela Arco on the north shore of Lake Garda the weekend after Easter from 24-27th April!
The Italian RS Aeros enjoy many excellent venues and Arco on the north shore of Lake Garda is always popular. Lago di Garda is wonderful in the spring with warm air and crisp fresh water. The incredible venue shrouded by sheer cliffs is one of Europe's premier meccas of sail sports, with thermal breezes, excellent weather, incredible views and fine Italian cuisine!
The early season date, enabled by the Italian climate, will provide an excellent stepped build up a full 3 months prior to the RS Aero World Championships at Quiberon France at the end of July.

Categories:
Racing will be in the four RS Aero Classes (5,6,7&9) and the categories shall be awarded from those overall results.
Those wanting to compete for category awards need to click the appropriate box on the entry form and enter the appropriate Class;
Youth - RS Aero 5 Youth Male & Female (under 17 & 22 years), RS Aero 6 Youth Female (under 22 years), RS Aero 7 Youth Male (under 22 years)
Female - RS Aero 5 & 6
Master - RS Aero 6 & 7 (Male - 55 years and over, Female - 45 years and over)

Garda Training:
The German RS Aero Class are organising 4 days coaching at CV Arco again this year. The dates are 23rd and 28-30th April, surrounding the championship, due to the availabilities of coaches. This is open internationally to everyone interested and together with the Europeans is a great opportunity for racing and training early in the season.

Coaches: Ausra Mileviciute and Arkadii Kistanov (training language is English)
Group size: approx. 6-7 participants/group, 2 groups
Costs: approx. 370 EUR/participant, this includes the coaches fee, motorboat charter and fuel. Berth fee at CVA to be paid separately by each participant.

The booking of Charter RS Aeros will be prioritised to distant long-haul travellers from outside Europe. European competitors should plan to bring their own RS Aeros. UK RS Aero Transport: Sailboat Deliveries are able to offer a return delivery service to the 2025 RS Aero Europeans at Garda from their base at Emsworth, UK, allowing those owners to fly in for a more relaxing Lake Garda Championship experience.
The price is £950 per boat (including VAT & Carnet costs) with a minimum requirement of 6 RS Aeros. Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis. To book, send them a completed delivery booking form and once they have 6 requests they will request a 50% deposit to secure the space. The balance is then due one month before the event. Arrival/Departure Time: The hospitality for the participant sailors will be free from 21.04 to 28.04.2025, but it is always important that the sailors write an email to inform and ask for space to: [email protected] . The Sailing Club will be full with Optimists until the 20.04, if competitors want to arrive before that date, email so they can confirm if they have availability and the price for the berthing.

It is very difficult to park in this area, so it is common, to leave the car at the accommodation and to move around by bike or feet; we suggest to avoid moving by car once arrived. In some Hotels or Apartments you can also directly rent bikes. Sailors can leave their sailing stuff in their trailers nearby or in their boats

Airports to head for are: Verona Catullo Airport (80 km) - Bergamo Airport Orio (130 km) - Milano Linate Airport (150 km) - Milano Malpensa Airport (160 km) – Venice Marco Polo Airport (190 km) – Treviso Airport (200 km) -Innsbruck Airport in Austria (220 km), all of which can be reached by a number of cheap airlines e.g. Ryanair or EasyJet.
