Eastbourne Soverveign SC RS Aero Open & Training - East Sussex, UK, 26/27 June
Eastbourne Sovereign Sailing Club greeted the RS Aero Class to their south coast seaside town, officially the sunniest in the country, for a lovelly weekend of a day’s training followed by a day’s racing.

LATE ENTRY
The Club have confirmed that they can accept late entries on the day on Sunday.
We have 19 RS Aeros signed up for Sunday's open alonside the Scorpions so far and I already know of a few more entering on the day already.

Training on Saturday 26th and a one day Open Meeting on Sunday 27th to make a weekend of it on the East Sussex riviera!
Online Entry is now open for both events via the two links above.
The training on Saturday will be in two sessions, morning and afternoon. It is possible to enrol for one half day session for just £10, as perhaps locals or visitors will prefer morning or afternoon and a half day might suffice with the open meeting on Sunday. The keen sailors can enrol for a whole day to include both sessions for just £15.
At the open meeting on Sunday you get to put into practice what you learnt in the training and hopefuly enjoy some fantastic Eastbourne conditions.
A Saturday Dinner Social is available at ESSC at a discount of £12 by pre booking. The Club, fronting onto the beach, is a lovely place to relax on a summer's evening.
This is a fantastic opportunity to stretch your legs on the open ocean and enjoy some splendid wave practice! Eastbourne is a lovely seaside town just to the east of Beachy Head and home to some of the best sea sailing on the south coast. The clubhouse is idyllically situated with its large terrace overlooking the beach and sea at their wonderful East Sussex seafront location. There are good facilities, a welcoming membership and we enjoyed an excellent 2020 RS Aero UK Nationals here.

FUN FACT - Eastbourne gets more sunshine than anywhere else in the UK according to Met Office statistics and has also been named one of Britain's happiest towns!
