Warm enough for shorts last weekend at Lipno!

VENUE PLAN

The RS Aero Czech Open shares the venue, Jachetni Klub Cerna v Posumavi, with the RS Feva European Championships and we have separate race areas. Here is a map to help with your arrival!

Spring has arrived at Lake Lipno and we are now up to 17 entries from 6 countries for a fully International regatta!
Who else is going to sign up?

The organisers have been busy meeting at Lipno developing this exciting new event alongside the RS Feva Class. We now have a grand Opening Ceremony at Windy Point (just along the shoreline) with Cocktails - in addition to the beer sponsor, Pivovar Cvikov!

Looks great!

Another brand new RS Aero arrives in the Czech Republic - in good time for some practice ready for the Czech Open in May!

Message from Vaclav, Czech RS Class President;

Hi everybody,
we have awesome news from the Czech RS Aero fleet. I signed yesterday contract with the main sponsor for the Czech RS Aero Open! Pivovar Cvikov is a perfect beer brewing company so we will have a lot of free beer, extraordinary prize giving and a lot of fun!

I heard from lot of you, that you are interested to come! We will be very happy to welcome you, train with you and compete with you at Lipno lake. If your are interested to come, please, submit your as soon as possible - that will help us a lot, thank you!

DO YOU WANT TO COME, BUT YOU DO NOT OWN THE BOAT?
Doesn´t matter! We have still some charter boats (but you have to be quick) or our Estonian friends (Ants Haavel) are also able to rent some boats! In both ways, please contact Jan Myslik - [email protected] or me - [email protected]
We can expect wonderful regatta here. Take advantage to train before the Europeans to be with such a wonderful and experienced group of sailors. And also 7 countries already confirm their participation (CZE, SVK, GER, GBR, NED, EST, LTU)!

CHARTER BOATS

There will be a limited number of RS Aero charter boats available at the Czech Open. The event coincides with the RS Feva European Champs providing a great opportunity for those parents and siblings!

The price is 200 Euros for the 4 day event, including 3 days racing and 1 day coaching. It may be possible to charter for individual days if requested.

Priority will initially be given to local sailors and RS Feva parents there for their European Championships who may not have easy access to RS Aeros at home. If there are enough boats available they can be spread further, so get your name on Jan's list!

This exciting new event on the beautiful Lake Lipno in the Czech Republic is very close to the borders of Austria and Germany and is being held alongside the 2016 RS Feva European Championships.
