Steve Nicholson Trophy - Northampton SC, Saturday 27th Jan

Northampton Sailing Club's Steve Nicholson Trophy is raced in aid of the Asthma & Lung UK charity in memory of Steve, who was a popular sailor and member at Northampton Sailing Club. Headline sponsor is Pinnell & Bax
The event has been held on an annual basis since 2002 with fleets split into single and double handers for two mixed class handicap races. This provides a good challenge and excellent practice for the season ahead with the split fleet providing a good fleet of predominantly similar boats
Tim Hire won the Trophy in 2019 in his RS Aero 7 when he won the single-handed fleet on an excitingly breezy day. Can the RS Aeros win it back again in 2024?
