many possible reasons for this. I identified a hole in the top deck where the overdeck pulleys had worn away a tiny bit of gelcoat. I discovered it by using a manual foot air bed inflator and gently pressurising the hull via the drain plug. Put some tape over the breather under the footstrap first. Hissing and soapy water will reveal any problems.

If you have water inside the the hull then the surest way of draining it all is to put some padding under the transom and then lift the bow all the way until the hull is vertical and standing on its transom. Then rock side to side a little to get the last bit out of the bung hole.
The RS Aero is very light to enable this, but to be safe and keep balance it is recommended as a two person job.

Hi Peter and Mike. The same happend to me. What is the best way to send the water towards the stern? In the normal position the bulkheads block the flow. Is it turning the hull upside down, or on the side?

Thanks. It is stored level so will try adjusting this. Strange it has not happened previously but could be the heavy rain over the winter.

Hi Mike,
If you store an RS Aero bow down then water in the cockpit can leak into the breather hole on the front side of the cockpit under the toe strap.
Always store your RS Aero with the bow raised so that any water drains out the back of the cockpit..
