Teignouse Cup (Breizhskiff) - ASN Quiberon, Bretagne, France, 08/10 May
The Teignouse Cup is a big May event on the French RS Aero events list and is held annually from ASN Quiberon, adjacent to the waters we will race our 7th RS Aero World Championship in just 2 months time!
Summary thanks to Arnaud Bouchez; Another exceptional vintage for this dear Teignouse Cup 2025! 3 days of regattas in tonic conditions. 16 RS Aeros joined the event to compete in the mixed class division of 65 boats using corrected time scoring.
Our Ludo Roblin secured an impressive 2nd place overall in his RS Aero 7 behind a Europe dinghy in 1st. Ludo finished his series strongly and his two discards ended up being both his first two of the nine race series! The next RS Aero was Benoit Radier also RS Aero 7 in 6th, followed by Nicolas Honor in an RS Aero 6 in 8th. Those who chose the RS Aero 5 for the event at times regretted their choice given the manageable conditions all weekend.
Note the arrival of many new, very nice and promising names in our RS Aero fleet: Francois Denis 28eme, Valentin Dechauffour ex-505, Gauthier Tiberghien deNantes / Quiberon who didn't give up anything, Olivier Richard de Pornic, Laurent Dewisme my friend from Wimereux and Yannick Thomas from Pole Goelo. Note the very beautiful perf of Pierre Selles who didn't give up anything and stayed regular.
