RS Aero Winter Training 2024/25
The 2024/25 RS Aero UK Winter Training Series is now released and taking sign-ups ready for the winter season! This year includes on water training with 2 World Class Coaches at each venue and Online talks from 2 world renowned coaches. With reinvestment from the RS Aero UK Class Association this year's Winter Training Series is heavily subsidised to offer incredible value, being more accessible and affordable than ever before!

THE LOCATIONS
The RS Aero Winter Training Series 2024/25 will be visiting 7 different locations across highly RS Aero populated areas of the country. A mix of coastal and inland venues will allow sailors to develop skills for all types of sailing. These locations are: Lymington Town SC, Bowmoor SC, Papercourt SC, Warsash SC, Yorkshire Dales SC, Restronguet SC and Hayling Island SC!

THE SCHEDULE
5/6th October - Lymington Town SC, Hants
9/10th November - Bowmoor SC, Gloucestershire
30th Nov-1st Dec - Papercourt, Surrey
(Date TBC) Dec - ONLINE with Mark Rushall
25/26th January - Warsash SC, Hants
8/9th February - Yorkshire Dales SC or Hayling Island SC (TBC)
29/30th March - Restronguet SC, Cornwall
(Date TBC) Mar - ONLINE
19/20th April - Hayling Island SC or Yorkshire Dales SC (TBC)

ON THE WATER TRAINING 
Each weekend will have a specific focus for the group. The sessions will be a mixture of boat handling skills, racing tactics and much more with the goal to build up to a summer of championship racing.

ONLINE TALKS
Members of the team will receive access to 2 online talks, one from Mark Rushall, a world class sailing coach who has been working with the British Sailing team since 2006 and the other to be confirmed, with exciting names in the pipeline. 

THE COACHES
Over the last few years the class has built strong bonds with Several coaches. Sammy IJ, George Cousins and Andrew Frost will continue to lead the Training in 2024/25. These specialist coaches will attend each weekend and give insight into their specific strengths.

THE COST
We have been even luckier than ever for 2024/25 to again get some EPIC funding from the RS Aero UK Class Association re-investing to promote and support the 2024/25 winter training meaning a large subsidy in cost for those enrolling for the whole series! 
The cost for the 7 weekends of on water training, 2 online calls will be just £300 per Youth Sailor (U22 on 31.12.24) and just £450 per Adult Sailor. 
There will also be the opportunity to sign up to individual weekends training for the price of £110 per weekend.

Whole Series - Enter the whole 7 weekend series (+2 online sessions) for a huge saving at the discounted rate of £300 Youth or £450 for Adults, HERE. You do not then need to enter the individual events or online sessions.
Individual Weekends - It is possible to enter individual training weekends for £110 each. Online Entry and Full Details of each individual weekend are on the RS Aero UK Events List.
