Bowmoor Sailing Club hosted an excellent weekend for the RS Aero UK Womens Championships with 20 RS Aero Women competing in two fleets. Saturday began with pre event coaching from Sammy I-J preparing everyone for Sunday's racing, before an after sailing barbecue and Club party! For Sunday's racing, the breeze varied between 5 and 15 knots making for some wonderfully challenging racing...

RS Aero UK Womens Championship & Coaching - Bowmoor SC, Swindon, 17/18th Sept
Following a successful first event in 2021 the RS Aero UK Womens Championship returns to Bowmoor in 2022. The dedicated RS Aero UK Womens Championship will again provide a fun and varied weekend with a coaching day on Saturday followed by championship racing on Sunday.
Whether you are a seasoned RS Aero sailor or you are still thinking about whether to join the class, this is going to be a friendly and welcoming event for all for all ages and abilities.
If you want to take advantage of the last of the summer weather (and make the most of the Saturday party!), there is camping on site with a choice of pods, camping or caravanning available.

Coaching: From 10:00 Saturday, covers off but not in sailing kit
Championship Racing: On Sunday (Three Classes RS Aero 5, 6 and 7)
Registration 09:00 Sunday, Briefing 10:00 Sunday, First Race 10:30 Sunday
Party: Saturday evening party with the club bar serving cocktails and mocktails
Accommodation: On site pods for rent or free camping and campervanning available
Catering: The club galley will be open between 9am and 4pm on both days. On Saturday Evening the club will be lighting 3 large barbecues where you will be welcome to cook your own food. There are also a selection of takeaways that deliver to the club.
