Royal Lymington RS Aero Open - Royal Lymington YC, Hampshire, Saturday 9th Oct
Very Light winds in the middle of the warm sunny high pressure system, coupled by fast flowing spring tides, made racing impossible at the Royal Lymington RS Aero event unfortunately for the 20 RS Aeros entered.
A pleasant couple of hours under postponement was spent soaking up the end of season sun and catching up with other RS Aeros sailors on the Royal Lymington's balcony. The race officer was able to make the call early with confidence allowing sailors to enjoy the rest of the day. Popular options then were paddleboarding, ribbing, cycling or watching SailGP live! Those who ventured out to the race course on paddleboards can confirm that the decision turned out to be a good one this day!
Thanks to the Royal Lymington YC for their efforts and we look forward to returning!

Royal Lymington YC are hosting a one day autumn RS Aero open to coincide with Lymington Town SC running a one day RS Tera open on the same day - a great option for RS Aero/Tera families! Lymington is well known to the RS Aero fleet with a large local fleet and well attended events. Four 30 minute races held back to back are scheduled.
