Selden SailJuice Winter Series; 'The Fernhurst Books Draycote Dash now rescheduled to the weekend of 6/7th March 2021 due to the Covid Lockdown, details to follow.'
This is good news. The November event during lockdown had to go and the new date saves a great event and fills a space in the calendar (youth training aside) around when the cancelled Dinghy Show was set to be. In these times a socially distanced racecourse has to be a better option for keen racers than a crowded show!

Sat 21st Nov for Single-Handers
The Notice of Race is out and it is confirmed that the Dash is one day on Sat 21st for single handers with double handers on the 22nd.
This change to the usual format will enable reduced numbers each day helping achieve a more Covid secure environment, as we experienced effectivly managed by DWSC at our recent Inland Champs. It should also improve the quailty of our racing, with more matched boats on the mixed fleet start lines and less traffic overall.
We can expect a good turnout of RS Aeros with a large home fleet of RS Aeros and the Selden SailJuice Winter Series becoming increasingly popular for the RS Aeros. With 240 boats pre-regd the RS Aero 5 and RS Aero 7 are the two largest classes so far we can look forward to some nice Class racing within the larger mixed fleet results sheet.
If you have not done so already you need to Pre-Register now for £5 in order to hopefully be invited to enter from the 2nd Nov.
