RS Aero UK End of Season Championships Datchet Water SC, Berks

Due to the impending lockdown.
Whilst we wait for formal government policy and the RYA's guidance to sailing clubs it would appear impossible to hold this event due to the suggested travel restrictions and the inability for volunteers to attend.
We look forward to visiting Datchet and their growing RS Aero fleet instead at their Datchet Flyer SailJuice Event which is likely to be one day for single handers on the weekend of the 5/6th Dec. You can reserve your entries by pre-registering for just £5 via the link above.

Waiting for the RYA to issue its guidance to sailing clubs. There is risk of being postponed.

Links to the Notice of Race, Sailing instructions, Virtual Race Office, Telegram Event Chat Group, Telegram Event Notice Board can all be found on the link above.
A virtual race office has been set up to allow competitors to declare retirement or races not sailed, changes to rig, sail numbers and request a protest form, redress or arbitration.
Telegram will be used as a replacement to an event notice board and also allow competitors to ask questions. Telegram is a free app which is simple and secure to use, you can't see the phone number of other group members as in other apps.

The 2020 RS Aero End of Season Champs are rescheduled to Datchet Water SC, performing for Royalty in front of Windsor Castle. The season closer will now be one day only on the Saturday, for convenience in the current climate.

Thank you to Datchet Water SC for stepping up to host at short notice, and to our man on the ground, Simon Geyman, for teeing it up. We can look forward to visiting Datchet's growing bubble of RS Aeros. Datchet is wonderfully accessible, straight off the M4 and M25 to the west of London.
