RS Aerocup : La Baule, France 28 Sept - 1 Oct
“Wind, sun, a great organization and a friendly atmosphere: the RS Aerocup 2018 at La Baule was a real success!” was the summing up quote of first time RS Aero competitor, Benoit of France.
The 2018 RS Aerocup International Regatta was graced with four days of blue skies and medium breezes; "c'est toujours comme ça ici, monsieur!". Add to that the beautiful French seaside resort of La Baule just after the busy holiday season we were on for a gem of a long weekend!
The offshore winds gave flat conditions and what we missed in Atlantic rollers we gained in the challenge of frequent shifts and well defined gust lines. These gifted continual opportunities to progress both upwards or downwards throughout the 24 boat fleet, with manageable racing for all....

Entries are rolling in for the French RS AeroCup at La Baule!
Still quite a few names not on the list yet.
Four countries are entered so far: France, Estonia, Great Britain and Australia
Will we have any entries from Holland, Germany, Belgium or Ireland?
Charter RS Aeros: just a couple remaining!
Brittany Ferries: 20% discount from the UK
A late start on Friday and early finish on Monday allows for travel (overnight ferries from UK) and only two weekdays off work.
Four days of awesome sea sailing and wave practice in the last of the summer before October kicks in!

Four days racing on the sea enjoying the waves at the wonderful French seaside resort of La Baule and Le Pouliguen.
A late start on Friday and early racing on Monday enable UK sailors who are short of time to catch overnight ferries on Thursday and Monday.
Entry includes the opening party and dinner on Saturday - galettes and crepes, YUM!

Just six weeks to go!The 4th edition of this prestigious 'but relaxed' RS Aero annual international regatta is to be held at La Baule, France - la plus belle plage d'Europe!
La Baule is situated near Nantes, 50km to the east of Carnac, the venue of last year's 1st RS Aero World Championship.
