Hi John,
The RS Aero 9 lower mast has a much thicker wall thickness than the RS Aero 7 and has different bend characteristics. It certainly can not be done as Class legal equipment.
The RS Aero masts are incredibly robust. Have you broken yours and if so, how?Reply 23/11/2021 17:55:00
