Customer care confirmed this to be an issue with my strap. They have sent me a replacement - no quibble - great service as always. Thanks RS Reply 28/06/2021 21:05:00

I picked up a new Aero (3rd one) a couple of months ago and it looks like the rubber strip that is usually found underneath the toe strap is missing and makes for a very slippy hike. Feels more like a seat belt. Is this is a build fault/oversight in the strap or do all the new straps have this feature by design? I would really like my rubber back so I can hike with confidence, its almost unworkable especially with a loose strap which is my preferred setting for some good leverage,
Does anybody else have this problem ? See photos left = original, right = new.... Reply 20/06/2021 20:20:00
