Hi,
Outhaul: yes the tail of that line coming out of the boom ties with a bowline to the block on the control line.
downhaul: yes, that line with a knot goes from the starboard side through the gromment in the main and the knot tucks into the groove on the port side of the boom.
the extra block on the bow: not sure. There are several ways to rig the overdeck lines so the slack is taken up. My guess is there were two bungee cords run to the bow through those blocks, one for the outhaul, one for the cunningham to take up the slack.

Sorry one further question - what is the spare block on the bow for?

Thanks (sorry for basic questions!)

Hi!

I've picked up my new (to me) Aero today and have a couple of queries from rigging it up for the first time this afternoon.

Outhall - picture 1 - how do I connect this up? I've looked in the rigging guide but confused as to how the tail coming out of the gooseneck/boom attaches to the over deck controls? Is it just a bowline to the block in the bottom left of my photo?

Downhall - picture 2 - does the pink/red rope go through the sail tack eye and knotted into the slot on port side of gooseneck? Mine is 3 seperate pieces, assume it shouldnt be like this?

Thank you!
