I have a new boat to - 3244. When I was installing the ratchet block on fit out it was quite hard to push in until I got the click. I could not do it with my force alone, it was protruding about 2 or 3mm. I eventually had to give it a very gentle tap with a rubber mallet and a protective block and it then clicked straight into place. Not sure if I will be able to get it back out in a hurry though ! In hindsight, maybe  a small amount of some lubricant spray may have helped.

I have a new one too 3198, and mine is fine so far. If I remember correctly there is a tab which needs to click in place (hence the supplied tool is essential to remove it). Maybe it just needs a good push! If that fails call/email RS support - that’s what they are there for, and they obviously know about any issues better than most of us.

Hi, I am looking for some help please. I just got a new Aero 3187 and was out for a great spin today. However the mainsheet ratchet block released from the deck fitting on two occasions. Is there something I need to do or can do to prevent this happening? Thanks Daragh Sheridan IRL 3187
