To update: RS gave me a full refund and I now have a replacement from Admiral Trailers who were very helpful.

This sounds very like the wrong trailer base for that trolley. I'd respectfully ask for a refund and find one that fits.

I have an early trolley which fits just fine on my Solo's combi base.

I bought my Aero second-hand and it came with the early model launching trolley. I recently purchased a road trailer from RS and it's far too large for the trolley (the front fixture is more than 1/2 metre too far away, RS suggestion is the trolley will have to be swapped for a newer version), but is also very heavy to move even unloaded as it's so large. I wondered if any owners of early model Aero's have a road trailer that fits better?

PS Car-topping isn't an option for me due to glass roof :-(
