TopTip2021 #88 -  Starting - Assess & Execute  - by George Cousins, GBR

RS Aero TopTip #88 comes from George Cousins' Zoom session on Thursday 18th March. During the 60 minute recording George uses his RS Aero coaching videos as both examples and discussion points whilst engaging his audience.

Topics discussed include start line assessment, bias, tide, transits, ends laylines, holding station, trigger pulls and the exit strategy. We finish with the benefit of the Race Officer's perspective by Robin Gray of Northern Ireland, a World Sailing International Race Officer. Robin gives his views on setting lines, identifying prematurity and when he may call off a start.

For those unable to tune in live we recorded it, making it available to all later. You can view the recording here;
