The Viridian Sailing Centre is based in Arlington, Dallas, in Texas, USA. Under blue skies and a hot sun they enjoy their RS Aero sailing in fresh lake water and have 30 RS Aeros there now, stacked on custom pontoon racking.
Long Ta is one of their keen RS Aero sailors and put together this excellent simple introduction to the basic racing rules of sailing in this Youtube video. The video covers just enough of sailing rules to get you started and is the perfect follow up to David's Tip #68. It is really clear to follow and so much easier to understand than reading a book. it goes quite quickly at just 5 minutes length, be ready to hit the pause button to read the explanations. '
The annual RS Aero event at Viridian, The Viridian Firecracker Regatta, is set to hopefully be held on Sept 26/27 this year.
