Hi Phill,
I don't see a problem with putting two feet in the rear part of the toe strap when conditions are severe and you need to get your weight back.
As a general guide;
Marginal planing - use the very rear of the front part of the strap. This avoids overly sinking the stern when not planing hard, allowing earlier planing and prolonged planing.
Solid planing - One foot in the front part and one foot in the rear part. Provides stability and ability to move fore and aft quickly.
Extreme planing & waves - Both feet in the rear part. This allows you to hike right off the back corner off the boat and you will then be glad of the RS Aero's non slip as you bounce over waves! This is important once you are going very fast and there is a possibility of the bow going into waves as you overtake them due to wind strength and/or sea state.
Those with long legs will be more likely to be able get far enough back with just their rear foot in the rear part of the strap.

Hi, I am wondering wether I can put two extra straps on the back for planing due to the single strap only giving room for one foot to be in when leaning back.
Would someone please let me know if this is class legal and if so how I can do it. Is there a fixing by the stern?
