Our RS Aero sticker on the transom of their VO65 took a pounding across the southern ocean where Team Brunel won one of the most gruelling legs ever in the race's 45 year history. We now have a refresh in a more shetered location - keeping #teamlymo company! Can you spot it? (In the O of Musto)

Congratulations to RS Aero owner Abby Ehler and Team Brunel who led the Volvo Ocean Race out of the Southern Ocean and around Cape Horn a couple of days ago. The mood on board was subdued however, following the loss of Scallywag's John Fisher earlier in the week.

 

Team Brunel are powered forwards with the assistance of our lucky sticker on the transom of their VO65 after it's express delivery to Auckland!

Hi Iain, 

There is not a 'normal' Class Association sticker (not for UK and International Assocs anyway). Early feedback and consultation was to not go for peppering our boats with annual membership stickers. Any printed material and postage would cut into the funds from the relatively small membership subs.

Other RS Classes do not have them either. 

 

We do this digitally, without transom stickers as evidence of membership at events. A cross check of lists and reminders works.

 

UK and International members receive a digital membership card by email which they can either save to their device or print for their wallet.

By popular demand the long awaited, much refined, boat park credibility booster. Many RS Aero sailors also enjoy racing two person dinghies occasionally, maybe even keelboats and that’s OK. It doesn't matter if you also enjoy sailing a Sunfish, Merlin or Foiling Moth alongside your RS Aero - you can now still be COOL!
