Winners are Grinners!
Congratulations to Nick Neve for topping the leader board at Rutland SC's Winter Series through Nov & Dec.

The father son duo of Finlay and Jasper Barnham were paving the way early in the series but when they didn't show in December Nick was there to clinch the deal in the mixed fleet handicap for the RS Aeros!

This weekend is the Tiger Trophy at Rutland, Round 5 of our RS Aero winter series and the home team look forward to welcoming RS Aero visitors. Nine RS Aeros are already signed up, spread across all three rigs, making the RS Aeros (combined) the second largest class.

Additionally, at the request of the recently expanded local fleet, the RS Aeros are now included on the Saturday (only 1 day) of the 'RS Sprints' on the 21st April - for those local to Rutland or north, who are not contemplating the Broadwater SC Open.

The prize giving season continues north of the border with Iain McGonigal (2155) carting away the silverware at East Lothian YC, North Berwick, Scotland by winning the Frostbite, Summer and Winter series.

There is a good RS Aero fleet there and Angus Boyd (1265) also won the Stern Chase.

It was Lymington Town's turn to have their annual prize giving Saturday night.

Julie Willis stole the show with the Coronation Cup long distance race trophy, coming out top in the competitive mixed fleet RESULTS.
Keith and Liam are photographed looking longingly at Mum's trophy!

Peter Barton pulled off a Wednesday evening series and Karl Thorne snuck in a couple of podiums.

Liam Willis  and Peter won their 9 and 7 fleets at the recent Lake Garda RS Aerocup whilst Nevillaar Herbert pulled off a creditable 4th in the RS Aero 7s.

Congratulations to Charlie Pearce, our RS Aero UK Class Sustainability Rep, for clearing out most of the trophies at the Dabchicks SC annual prize giving!
Winner of the Spring & Summer Series, Dinghy Championships and overall Dabchicks Dinghy Champion Sailor for 2017 in his RS Aero 5!

Charlie was one of the early RS Aero pioneer Aeronauts of the Winter Training weekends. Here is a video of him on the first day of the very first winter training weekend at Queen Mary (high tide!)  3 years ago after he had just unwrapped his brand new RS Aero that morning!

All attendees went through a capsize drill that day to gain that familiarisation early. We videoed the various recoveries to help others too!

If you want to win big trophies like Charlie sign up to the Winter Training weekends on the UK Events List!
