They link with a fitting on steel launching trolleys to stop them bouncing upwards in transit. Contact west mersea for the replacement L-shaped fitting which bolts in the same location to link with the aero aluminium launching trolley.

I bought my first Aero today complete with alloy launching trolley. I put it on my 250 size West Mersea roadbase. The length was fine but I had to remove a short piece of square tube from each side of the trolley for it to fit the roadbase properly. I can't see any reason for the short tubes: does anyone know what they're for?
