10/11th October 2020

The Draycote RS Aero fleet has increased in size dramatically through 2019 and we look forward to visiting them for our Inland Championship in 2020. They are is centrally located and easily accessed from each direction, with a good expanse of water there with attractive surrounds and a comfortable clubhouse.

Draycote Water SC, an RYA Club of the Year 2020 finalist, are professionally managed and are now both well set up and practiced at delivering a socially distanced and hygienic process for large regattas. Beyond small social interactions there will be no need to gather;
  • 100 RS Aero limit
  • Entry and payment online
  • Registration drive through on arrival
  • Race briefing will be by online video
  • Multiple launching areas with long foreshore
  • Changing rooms are closed, bring your changing robes
  • No evening social, Dunchurch is nearby for accom & dinner
  • Restricted prize giving, available to all by video later
Food, drink and toilets will remain available and the racing will be excellent, together with ample opportunity to catch up with old friends on and off the water.

The Inlands at Draycote will now include the re-scheduled RS Aero 9 UK National Championships with RS Sailing's wonderful trophy and the 2020 UK title still up for grabs. Will Liam Lightening strike twice and return to defend his title?
As in previous years, the event will also incorporate the RS Aero UK Ladies and Masters Championships, with the Ladies event rescheduled from earlier this year. The Ladies and Masters Champs will both evolve to their own stand alone events in 2021.
