The RS Aero International Class is delighted to announce that the 2026 RS Aero European Championships and Youth World Championships have now attracted an incredible 187 entries, making it one of the largest RS Aero championship fleets ever assembled.

Hosted as part of the RS Games during the world-famous Travemünde Woche in Germany from 19–24 July 2026, the championship is set to bring together sailors from across Europe and beyond for a spectacular week of racing. With entries continuing to arrive, the event promises exceptional competition across all four RS Aero rig sizes.

The fleet will feature defending champions, national champions, youth sailors, masters, and newcomers to international competition, reflecting the strength and diversity of the RS Aero Class worldwide. The combined European Championship and Youth World Championship format continues to prove hugely popular, providing world-class racing opportunities for sailors of all ages and experience levels.

The impressive entry of 187 boats follows the continued growth of the RS Aero Class across Europe, with strong participation in national championships, Euro Circuit events, and international regattas throughout the season. The championship fleet is expected to represent more than 15 nations, creating a truly international atmosphere both on and off the water.

Travemünde's renowned sailing waters, excellent race management, and vibrant regatta atmosphere provide the perfect setting for what promises to be a memorable championship. Sailors can look forward to six days of racing, social events, and the unique experience of competing within one of Europe's most prestigious sailing festivals.
