Aquavitessse, Bruinisse, Holland – 26-30th July 2015
Following the RS Aero receiving the HISWA ‘Product of the Year 2015’ award at the Amsterdam International Boat Show, Aquavitesse and the Dutch RS Class are pleased to announce the RS Aero 5 ‘Euro Lift-Off and EuroCup’ event.
This combined event will be hosted by Aquavitesse in Bruinisse, Holland, at the same time as the RS Tera World Championship. The Dutch were understandably keen to make sure they had all the organisation securely in place for the main World Championships before announcing the additional RS Aero event. Now, with some assistance from dedicated visiting parents, they are able to announce this exciting RS Aero event.
The first 2 days, 26-27th July will be 'Lift-Off' coaching enabling RS Aero induction, coaching, racing and some demo-ing.
Then for 3 days, 28-30th July, there will follow the Eurocup Racing event.
Whilst the event shall be focused towards young sailors and RS Aero 5s there shall also be open invite to both adults and the larger RS Aero rigs with a separate start planned for the 7 and 9 rigs.
We expect this exciting new event to prove popular to;
- New RS Aero 5 sailors across Europe
- Ex RS Tera sailors keen to visit their friends the World Championships
- RS Feva sailors following their Travemunde World Championships
- Parents of RS Tera/Aero sailors taking part at Bruinesse
- All Dutch/local RS Aero sailors

In addition to the RS Aero 5 ‘Euro Lift-Off and EuroCup’ being held alongside the RS Tera World Championship it is also the RS500 World Championship the following week from 2-6th August. So it is an exciting time at Aquavitesse, why not come for both weeks!
